Experience Shapes Every Project.
Jack Moses, RA
For more than four decades, Jack Moses has approached architecture with the belief that every successful project begins by listening. Each commission is shaped by its site, its purpose, and the people it is designed to serve. Rather than pursuing a signature style, he seeks thoughtful solutions that respond naturally to context, creating architecture that is enduring, functional, and quietly timeless.
Jack’s architectural journey began in Chicago, where he apprenticed alongside his father, architect Irving B. Moses. He later earned degrees in Fine Art and Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design, developing a foundation that balances artistic vision with technical precision.
Early in his career, Jack worked with internationally recognized firms including Gensler and SOM (Skidmore, Owings & Merrill), contributing to projects spanning a wide range of building types. Over the years, his work has encompassed custom residences, renovations, hospitality, commercial developments, retail environments, public buildings, and developer collaborations throughout the United States and abroad.
Today, Moses Architecture is a collaborative practice that partners with homeowners, developers, and organizations from concept through construction. While Jack personally leads every commission, the studio’s collaborative approach is supported through thoughtful coordination, attention to detail, and carefully considered design solutions.
